Thank you! It is a pleasure, to work with a company that wants to make it right for the customer :) many times i deal with Chinese companies that do not care about the customer and long term business. I think I made the right decision going with you and Altrasonic !!!

What materials are generally used for ultrasonic molds?

Commonly used ultrasonic mold materials include aluminum alloy, mold steel, and titanium alloy. Ultrasonic molds made of different materials are suitable for different occasions and each have different advantages.

1. Aluminum alloy ultrasonic mold:
Advantages: light weight, low density, high ultrasonic transmission rate, low hardness suitable for large-scale molds, complex textures can be carved on molds, and processing costs are relatively low. The disadvantage is that it has low wear resistance and is easy to wear. Therefore, aluminum alloy ultrasonic molds are suitable for discontinuous high-strength friction operations such as sewing and welding, high ultrasonic wave strength, and mold surfaces that require engraving (such as ultrasonic welding machines, mask setting machines, etc.). It is suitable for aluminum alloy ultrasonics. Mold.

2. Steel mold:
Advantages: high hardness, high wear resistance, the strongest mold service time, and high stability. The disadvantage is that the ultrasonic transmission rate is relatively low and the acoustic resistance is large. In order to ensure the ultrasonic transmission effect, it is not suitable for the large-scale mold. If it is a round mold, the unit diameter generally cannot exceed 11.5cm. Steel molds are suitable for various rolling cutting, cutting, slitting, shearing and other application equipment, such as mask body machine, ultrasonic cloth slitting machine, ultrasonic punching machine and other equipment using steel molds.

3. Titanium alloy ultrasonic mould:
The advantages are high hardness, good wear resistance, fast heat dissipation, light weight and low density. When the same power ultrasonic wave occurs, the ultrasonic transmission rate of the same volume mold is higher than that of the steel mold. Titanium molds can be said to integrate many advantages of steel molds and aluminum molds. Its disadvantage is high cost, titanium type, the price is much higher than the same specifications of aluminum and steel type (the current price of titanium base exceeds 500 yuan/kg). Therefore, titanium alloy ultrasonic molds are suitable for workplaces with higher ultrasonic transmission rates, larger working surfaces, and at the same time requiring wear resistance.
