It is generally believed that in the initial stage of the ultrasonic welding process, tangential vibration removes oxides on the metal surface and causes repeated micro-welding, deformation and destruction of the protruding portion of the rough surface to increase the contact area and increase the area of the weld zone. Large, at the same time, the temperature of the weld zone is increased, and plastic deformation occurs at the area of the weldment. Under the effect of contact pressure, spot welding is formed when the atomic gravitational force can be approached from each other. At present, a more generally accepted principle of ultrasonic metal welding is explained as follows: when welding metal materials, an ultrasonic frequency vibration current is generated by an ultrasonic generator, and then the transducer uses the inverse piezoelectric effect to convert it into elastic mechanical vibration energy, and passes The acoustic system is input to the weldment. Under the combined effect of static pressure and elastic vibration energy, the contact surfaces of the two welded tools cause friction, temperature rise and deformation to destroy the oxide film or other surface attachments, and make the metal atoms between the pure interfaces infinitely close, resulting in Combination and diffusion, practically reliable connection.
