Different material characteristics of ultrasonic welding horn
The welding horn mold of the ultrasonic welding machine is the part of the ultrasonic energy output. Many ultrasonic welding machines have different treatments on the surface of the mold. The final effect of the surface treatment is to make the mold wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant, increase hardness, and improve aesthetics. First of all, the ultrasonic welding machine mainly uses three materials to manufacture: steel alloy, aluminum alloy and titanium alloy. The surface treatment process of different materials is different. Today, Nicol's editor will take everyone to understand the surface treatment process and material characteristics of ultrasonic molds.
Steel alloy: Heat treatment improves the hardness, and the nickel plating on the surface not only prevents rust, but also exerts a certain aesthetic effect.
Aluminum alloy: generally anodize the surface to prevent corrosion, especially hard anodize to increase the surface hardness to prevent surface corrosion.
Titanium alloy: It does not require any treatment and is itself a kind of anti-corrosion material. After cutting, it has a good metal texture, which can increase the beauty.
The characteristics of three kinds of ultrasonic welding horn mold materials:
1. Advantages of steel alloy molds: the hardness increases after heat treatment, and it is the most wear-resistant of the three materials. Disadvantages: Difficult to cut, high heat generation of the mold itself, easy to damage other parts.
2. The advantages of aluminum alloy molds: low hardness, suitable for cutting and engraving processing, at the same time, mechanical conductivity is also better than that of steel alloy molds, and low heat generation. Disadvantages: In addition to the problem of the material itself, the matching problem of mechanical properties is short in life, low in hardness, and poor in wear resistance.
3. Advantages of titanium alloy mold: the best mechanical conductivity, the hardness is higher than that of aluminum alloy but lower than that of steel alloy, the wear resistance of aluminum alloy is higher than that of steel alloy but lower than that of steel alloy, and the service life is almost not bad. Disadvantages: high cost of raw materials and poor wear resistance.
