Several reasons and solutions for high ultrasonic current
The control box of the ultrasonic welding machine is also called an ultrasonic generator, which is used to transmit the high-power AC flat rate signal to the mold and match the resonance frequency. The high voltage of each required ultrasonic frequency will be generated from the connected power supply voltage. All data related to the welding process are accurately measured and evaluated. The generator protects the vibration system from overload, keeps the amplitude (weld head movement) constant and compensates for the vibration behavior of the respective welding head. It is a device that generates ultrasonic signals. In many cases, the current of the ultrasonic generator is too high due to various reasons.
If the ultrasonic current is large, first of all, it is necessary to distinguish whether the ultrasonic generator's own components are damaged and the current is large, or the ultrasonic load output is problematic and the current is large. It is very simple. Remove the ultrasonic output line and test the current of the ultrasonic generator without load. If it is normal, it means that the ultrasonic vibration system is faulty.
Experience has shown that the large current of the ultrasonic generator is generally caused by the mismatch between the ultrasonic vibration system of the ultrasonic transducer and the ultrasonic generator. In response to this problem, it is necessary to check whether each component of the ultrasonic vibration system is normal, whether the connecting screws between them are loose, whether there are cracks in the ultrasonic mold, etc.
Several reasons and solutions for high ultrasonic current:
1. The loosening of the screws between the ultrasonic die and the transducer leads to high current. Generally, the method to eliminate it on the machine that has been used for a period of time is to use the special wrench of the ultrasonic die to tighten it to see if the die is not locked.
2. Ultrasonic molds or die heads are damaged or cracked, which usually occur on ultrasonic waves that have been used for a long time or for a long time. The way to eliminate them is to check whether there are cracks on the surface of the die, or install it on other ultrasonic systems for detection.
3. Replace the ultrasonic transducer vibrator or ultrasonic die. If the current is too high after replacing these two parts, this is normal. As long as the ultrasonic frequency is adjusted, this problem can be solved.
