Abstract: Nano-TiO2 solar cell is an effective way to solve the energy problem. However, how to improve the conversion rate is the difficult preparation of nano-TiO2 solar cell. This article will introduce our company developed a new type of nano-porous TiO2 film preparation technology - ultrasonic spray technology.

At present, the research of nano-TiO2 solar cells has gradually become the hot spot of solar cell research. However, the problem to be solved urgently for the nano-TiO2 solar cell is that the photoelectric conversion efficiency is low due to the preparation method or the preparation process, which seriously restricts the industrialized production and large-scale application of the nano-TiO2 solar cell. The root cause of this problem is that the prepared TiO2 thin film electrode has the advantages of compact structure, fast electron-hole recombination and low photoelectric conversion efficiency, so a TiO2 film with a high specific surface area must be prepared. On the other hand, the porous structure can make the sunlight reflect multiple times on the rough surface and improve the utilization rate of light, so that the porous TiO2 film can facilitate the diffusion of the electrolyte and the transfer of the electrons, thereby improving the photoelectric conversion efficiency The electrode absorbs up to 100% near its maximum wavelength.

 

Contrast to the previous preparation process, self-developed ultrasonic nanomaterials were selected for atomization to prepare porous nano-TiO2 thin film batteries and put into production. This article references the previous experiments based on the demonstration of ultrasonic nano-materials atomization in the preparation of porous nano-TiO2 thin film battery role.

 

In the experiment, TiO2 powder was prepared by mixing TiO2 powder with ethanol as solvent and titanate as binder, and 2.2mm thick TFO conductive glass was chosen as substrate. The prepared TiO2 slurry was evenly sprayed on the pretreated FTO transparent conductive glass by an ultrasonic spray equipment with a spray area of ​​1 cm3. After the TiO2 film was naturally dried, the slurry was placed in a muffle furnace for heat treatment. First to 10 ℃ / min speed rose to 450 ℃, holding 30 min, and then naturally cooled to 80 ℃, the porous nano-TiO2 film.

 

The nano-TiO2 porous films prepared by impedance meter were tested and found that the potential values ​​were equivalent to those of flat film electrodes prepared by screen printing method. However, the preparation of membrane electrode by spray coating is easy to operate and the slurry is not easy to be wasted, The thickness, and the low cost of equipment, for a wide range of promotion, has greater application value. Another advantage of ultrasonic spray coating is to reduce the amount of binder in the slurry, which increases the porosity of the membrane electrode and hence increases the capacitance of the space charge layer on the surface of the semiconductor, thereby increasing the flat-band potential of the membrane electrode.
